About LIbbe Leah
Libbe L. Siskind is a successful Massachusetts-based business owner with a lifelong passion for writing. Her love of storytelling began in childhood during her time in foster care, where she found comfort and expression in keeping a journal—a practice that continues to inspire her work today.
In addition to writing, Libbe has a deep appreciation for antique collecting and a strong passion for real estate. She is someone who thrives on staying active and creatively engaged.
The name “A Piece of Heaven, LTD.,” came to her after the loss of her fiancé, David. It was a spiritual moment, as she walked from David’s beside, she went into the hallway and looked up the stairway with her son. There on the wall was a soft colored rainbow. She took a deep breath and said, “A piece of heaven…” a peaceful sign.
She opened her first sore in Brookline, MA after Dave’s passing in 1996, then moved to Oak Square in Brighton, MA. Soon after, Libbe moved west to Worcester until semi-retiring in 2026, moving her business fully online.
Libbe has also shared her voice through public speaking, including appearances at Massachusetts Mental Health Services and the JFK Presidential Library in Boston, where she spoke to medical professionals on the sensitive topics of death and dying.
Imaginative and vibrant, Libbe brings a multifaceted and expressive personality to her writing—one shaped by a rich life experience that continues to unfold in her work. She has authored memoirs, children’s books, and novels, and continues to dedicate herself part-time to her craft. Her books are available through major retailers such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
